I have a AC1300 High Gain TP-Link USB antenna which I would like to use with the Beaglebone Blue.
Just wondering if this is possible. I am not sure how to change/force the wifi connmanctl setup for it to use this antenna, rather than the ones it comes with.
I’ve followed the suggestion in (Robot Control Library: Networking WiFi) of having the dongle connected prior to power up, but I can tell that it is not actually using it. I know because I’ve disconnected the 2 antennas it comes with, and although even without them it connects to my router, if I simply cover the beaglebone blue with my hand (only the board → the AC1300 dongle completely free), the connection is lost. So, I’m not sure how to proceed with this.
I’d appreciate any insight to solve this problem.
