Thanks for jumping in here!! GSoC is a wonderful program and I know we have
a lot of folks looking to be mentors.

I hope people looking to be mentors can also update your entries on the
ideas page (that you are willing to be a mentor and what areas of expertise
you have).
I'll start a message thread on the GSoC list with some top-level ideas I
have in hopes others can use them to help flesh out the ideas page.
