gpio problem (bbxm with ubuntu)

hello

I am trying to use the gpio of bbxm.

I follow the step of this link:
http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#BeagleBoard_xM

using the prebuilt image.

I can boot the board successfully.
However, I encounter a problem that even i try to set the gpio pin 139 to “low” it still output 1.8V.
But I can successfully control it with Angsrom system.(With the same command.)

Is there any one can help me?Thanks!

You can't really compare the ancient Angstrom (board file) kernel with
this..
