It depends on the driver. The range is between ~1kHz (sysfs) and 100 MHz (direct PRU access). Some advanced CPU features like eCAP or eQEP also work at 100 MHz.

Also what’s the sample rate of the on board ADC?

The manufacturer TI talks about 200 kHz. Some people talk about 800 kHz. (I tested several CPUs, but couldn’t get more than 250 kHz).
