Update for Project Idea #2.5 from last post.
node-webkit was renamed to NW.js today while releasing 0.12.1 and adding support for bleeding edge ES6 features by moving to io.js and Chromium 41.I have gone through the source code for the incomplete application would like to get involved with the desktop application project, and restart it from scratch for GSoC '15.
