GTA04 is a OMAP3 based UMTS handheld platform/motherboard
originating/continueing the Openmoko developments.
And, it is based on the BeagleBoard schematics and therefore
has much in common.
The www.GTA04.org project is now looking for more developers
(and users).
Since the price is high (it is produced in small quantities), there are
several individuals (with less skills or time) willing to sponsor devices
to developers with skills and spare time.
