HDMI to VGA converter. Will this one work with BBB?

Yes, I have seen the support option that points to the converter on Amazon, but shipping it to my address in Europe still would cost a fortune… Therefore this question is this alternative from DealXtreme suitable for the BBB?

If you self power it, it may work OK. It looks close to the one on the Wiki.

Although, the picture on your link is not of a microHDMI device so you may want to confirm.

It looks similar to mine. I bought this one on Amazon, which does not have an audio output jack. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008295PTC/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It did not work with the 6-20-2013 Angstrom Image, but it does work with the 09-04-2013 image provided here: http://circuitco.com/support/index.php?title=Updating_The_Software I also have tested it with Debian and Ubuntu images loaded on microSD cards - in both cases the adapter worked.
