Hdmi vs LCD performance

Hi,

I’ve bought a Beaglebone Black. I haven’t bought an lcd yet, but I’ve been using it with an lcd display via hdmi connection while running different Android images. I’m curious if anyone of you compared BBB’s performance while running it with hdmi and with lcd. Does BBB run with the same performance for both or is there a difference?

Both interfaces use the LCD interface on the processor. Yes there is a difference if the LCD has lower resolution.

In the way you are using it, there is no difference in performance.
