How to play HD video on Beagleboard?

Hi,

I've tried for days but still cannot get HD video played well on
Beagleboard...

I've installed "SGX Video Acceleration" as described here:
http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#SGX_Video_Acceleration

however I think i still miss something there... maybe a player that is
compiled against SGX? guess I need a better big picture of the whole
thing.

Is there anyone can give me a clue or something good to start reading
with? Thanks!

The SGX stuff is for "3d" not video...

If you have an older Bx/Cx board (not xM).. we go the dspbridge
working for video..

http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#DSP

Otherwise you'll just have to use Angstrom to get your video playback
with the dsp (using dsplink)..

Regards,
