I have been happy with Geany on the BB White with Ubuntu 12.04.

If what you mean is “is Geany already installed by default on the Beagle or do I need to install it”, that will depend on which distribution you have, but the answer is that you almost certainly do need to install it. I’m quite sure it is not included with Angstrom, and probably not automatically with other distributions.

thank you i been tell on angstrom geany dose not work i need grit Gedit can you tell me how to install on beagle bone i did try other day but did not work on raspbeery you put in sudo apt_get on the line thank you ian
