installing a filesystem by narcissus

Hi,
I’m trying to format an SD card for a beaglebord rev C2 by a filesystem and an image downloaded from narcissus. I have not found detailed instructions for that. Basically I have followed the procedure at http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardBeginners#SD_card_setup and at http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/BeagleboardRevC3Validation, substituting the Image from narcissus to the file uImage.bin, but it doesn’t work.
By the basic procedure detailed at http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/BeagleboardRevC3Validation I was able to get the prompt of Angstrom:

but I suppose to have installed the ramdisk.gz file system, instead of the file system on the partition 2. What have I to do for booting with the "rootfs" partition in the ext3 partition?

Please, could you indicate detailed instructions?

ends with " Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt".
All the output of the boot phase follows …
Please, have you other suggestions? I have a beagleboard rev C2.
