Installing OpenJDK on BBB

Hello Guys,

we are currently facing an odd issue. We are running the newest Angstrom Linux Distribution on our BBB and we want to run a Java Application. We tried to manually install with
opkg install openjdk-6-jdk

But it cannot find the Package. Googling the issue lead us to the Angstrom Project site

http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/repo/?pkgname=openjdk-6-jdk

But every mirror is not avalaible and other navigation bars on the project-page lead to 404 pages.

Does anyone know where we can find a suitable openJDK for our BBB?

Exactly which version are you running? I just posted the latest version 5 minutes ago.

I’m having the same issue. Seems like the opkg package list dropped openjdk, so you have to download it using the url. However, the url on the angstrom site is broken and leads to a 404 page…
