Hello all
I am Aneesh Kumar from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) and I want to work with Beaglebone for my first GSoC.
I went through the Beaglebone website as well as elinux page for this year’s GSOC ideas and found ‘Library of Arduino-compatible functions for Starterware’ best for me as I am quite familiar with Arduino and avr programming through C. I had a brief look at Beaglebone once and felt it might be nice to have GPIOs operate just like the ones in Arduino.
I am an undergraduate at IIIT-D pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I like electronics and hardware programming, but deep inside also like competitive programming. My favorite languages are C and C++. Though I am not quite comfortable with python, I am trying my best to master it.
I hope to get selected in GSOC and have nice experience learning with Beaglebone.
Thank You
Regards
Aneesh Kumar
