I’m in need of help to see if my board is dead and can it be brought have to life? I have a Beaglebone Black that I am using on a Kulp8 board to control my Christmas lights. At first the only issue that I had was that the LCD on the Kulp would not light up, LAN was working find. Remove the LCD screen to try on my Kulp32 board and the screen came on, when back to the Kulp8 and now the LAN won’t connect to the ethernet. All the LEDS on both side and the ethernet will come on power up, but after 5 secs it goes off, also only one light POWER stays lite and the LED D4 stays on.
if i were debugging it, first disconnect everything from the BBB, get a recent IOT image and a USB-2-serial and see what happens. post the serial boot log.
I found the issue. The board sd card reader has a bent and now broke of pin, far right last pin was missing. I contacted the seller of the board over acouple of year having the board, the owner stated this was an known issues on a batch of boards that he received, and he can’t make any repairs, or replacement cause I waited 2 years.
