Hi,
I am trying to add wi-fi connectivity on BB using an USB wi-fi dongle,
but getting some errors as described below.
Information about wi-fi dongle:

I am working on Angstrom image and when i plug in wi-fi adapter it
gives the error message on the terminal
simple, just copy the files to another machine and paste into the SD BB and ready ... will work

The adapter works fine with my Ubuntu 9.04 desktop. So if copied the
zd1211 firmware files from ubuntu 9.04 desktop to BB SD card .... but
it gives the same error message.

you will copy only files that are inside the / lib / firmware / * everything *....
then paste it into the SD is in / lib / firmware / and glue, and did not ready .. but using this wifi card
I copied all the files inside /lib/firmware and copied to /lib/
firmware in SD card but again no success and getting same error
messages

1ยบ use the wifi in a PC-DESKTOP so the wifi is working you copy ... this is what I did and my work

Or is there any solution for getting USB wi-fi adpater to work on

My adapter works with Ubuntu 9.04 desktop but gives the error message

I'm not sure you have the same problem. But I found that there were
two programs both trying to start up the Wifi -- udev and connman. I
had to disable connman to get my wifi to work. I disabled it via
'chmod -x /etc/init.d/connman' and then rebooted. You could be having
an entirely different problem though.

If you don't want connman managing your wifi you can set it to 'manual' using the GUI or by editiing the file for your device in /var/lib/connman/

Hi,
Using the BB rev B7 I faced the same issue. I then copied the files
from ubuntu 9.04 and not the error -s disappeared.
However now I get something else (see bellow Error number -110):
