I’m trying to run X against the kernel’s frame buffer, using the fbdev driver, and
while X loads with the dummy driver I can’t get the kernel to produce a /dev/fbX
device. There must be something in the kernel config to do this, but I can’t spot
it. Does anyone have any ideas?
