Everyone,
After much delay, I will shortly begin offering a LCD Adapter Board and LCD combo for Rev. C and higher Beagleboard. The board takes care of all level shifting for the LCD as well as allows for dimming of the LED backlight for power savings (through I2C interface). The initially targeted LCD is a 7" WVGA (800x480) display and will be provided with the kit (see the LCD at this link: http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardRawLCD ) .
Populated adapter boards will be available individually for integration with other LCDs. The user will have to adapt the pin-out of the board to their LCD/application.
Current target price is $149 USD for the adapter with LCD availability March 2010.
Current target price is $59 USD for adapter board less LCD also available March 2010.
These prices should come down as quantities increase!
If you are interested, I would encourage you to contact me as soon as possible. The LCDs do have a lead-time associated with them so providing me with a rough idea of interest will allow me to have enough in stock.
