Linux + QT on Devkit8000

Hi,

I bought a Embest kit “Devkit8000” which has the same OMAP3530 processor as in Beagleboard. I am having a tough time installing DVSDK on it as TI’s DVSDK doesn’t have Devkit8000 config file to cross compile Linux. Can anyone there help me in the following:

  1. Suggest a DVSDK from where I can cross compile the kernel for Devkit8000 and also the NFS (file system) runs runs well
  2. My next target would be to have Qt on it. So a ready made kernel + NFS with QT would be a good option. If such NFS is not available. Please suggest method to port Qt on it.

what does Embest say?

  1. Devkit8000 is compatible with Beagleboard C3 in general. It must work
  2. Qt is available from Angstrom repository
  3. if you want you can compile Qt manually. There are tons of instructions online
