looking for any BBB-related tips/tricks/blog posts/FAQs/whatever i can post

by way of explanation, there's a good chance i'll be teaching an
embedded linux course next month and, if i'm feeling comfortable with
it, i can choose to teach it off of a roomful of BBBs but that means i
have to feel *really* comfortable with it, so i'm after any tips or
tricks or recipes that people have run across on their BBB,
particularly any they've posted that i can link to.

a lot of this is, of course, buried in places in the mailing list
archive but it would speed things up tremendously if folks can just
post to this list things like, "yes, i finally figured out how to do
X, here's how".

i've sort of started a list like that here:

http://www.crashcourse.ca/wiki/index.php/BeagleBone_Black#External_pages.2Fsort_of_FAQ

so feel free to throw out suggestions.

doesn't need to be a full blog post, even things as simple as "hey,
here's a command you can run on your BBB to do Y." just toss out
things you've discovered and everything will be added to my wiki page,
publicly available for everybody. if it's useful info, i'll find a
place for it and worry about proper organization later.

p.s. i'm particularly interested in examples of really simple
loadable modules/device drivers folks have written that i can use for
labs.

hilariously, *just* got email confirming that that class is on. so,
yeah, i'm after everything BBB related i can collect to be used in a
5-day embedded linux training class. go wild ...

ok, i added those two in a new subsection here:

http://www.crashcourse.ca/wiki/index.php/BeagleBone_Black#External_pages.2Fsort_of_FAQ

at least for now. i'm sure i'll be moving things around constantly.
thanks.
