looking for beagleboard derivative

Does anyone know of an economical beagle board derivative that brings the general purpose memory controller pins out to the expansion port and possibly other low level IO busses. I’d really like to use some high bandwidth peripheral boards with something very close to beagle but am limited at present by the available onboard IO interfaces (not fast enough). an fpga is one peripheral I’d like to interface, FULL speed ethernet is another. suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

I would look a the Gumstix Avero. http://www.gumstix.com/store/catalog/motherboards.php

Anything available besides gumstix? I don’t need anything quite that small and by the time I add equivalent peripherals plus Ethernet I’m almost $100 or more higher in cost. adding one chip and bringing out some I/O lines != $100.

Thanks,

Eric

I don’t know if the price is any better, but you can try Cogent, KwikByte, and LogicPD as well.
