I have noticed that as soon as I remove the meta-ti-bsp and meta-ti-extras and go back to meta-yocto-bsp, this problem is mitigated.
Similar to your case, I went the meta-ti way to get more bsp support (PRU specifically). But maybe its easier to stick with meta-yocto-bsp and somehow try to add that support by hand…
The problem with the meta-yocto-bsp however is that my device tree overlay is not loaded during boot, while it was working for the meta-ti image…
