How do you mount the SD card using the shell prompt (not using the gui)? When I plug in the card after booting nothing shows up under fdisk nor anything under /dev or /media.
If you're using angstrom, unfortunately the current 6-20 build requires the SD card to be inserted at boot to recognize it.
Some of the other distro's might support hot insert better (or not).
