Mplayer not working

Hi all,

I first followed the steps at :
http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/BeagleboardRevCValidation to
check all the devices ... an mplayer works fine for that. But when I
try Angstrom demo following the steps given at:
http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/HowToGetAngstromRunning,
mplayer does not work.

It shows cauldn't open the X11 display ...

Following is the log ...

Rajvi,

1) try to run it as a different user, not as root but rather as a
user you created when first
log into the system (and it will work)
2) try a newer image or opkg mplayer
3) don't be afraid to experiment
