New BBAI64 IoT image in a constant state of reboot

Was having trouble with the past few BBAI64 images and tried the most recent IoT image. I flashed it to an SD using BeagleBone Flashing Utility and it boots, is unresponsive for about a minute, then resets. Is there anything I could be doing wrong here?

Thanks!

Share your serial boot log.

Messed around with it a lot and now it doesn’t reboot anymore but here is the log:

Boot_log.txt (51.2 KB)

It just doesn’t like your microSD card at all.. once it failed to set the ddr50 timing it just completely failed… Try a second card.

worked for me, check the power supply, SD card or the image itself rather than the networking. try another known good SD card and reflash the image, preferably verifying the download/checksum if one is provided. Also make sure the BBAI64 is getting a stable power supply, a voltage drop can easily cause repeated reboots under load.

If still happens, connect over serial and watch the boot messages. The last few lines before the reset should give you a much better clue about whether its a kernel crash, watchdog reset or power problem. If the board is connected to a router, also try a different Ethernet cable/port just to rule out anything unusual on the network side, but I would suggest to start with serial output.

Tried it with a new SD card and it worked!

Thanks!
