OE behind firewall

Hello,

I try to run "bitbake linux-omap" behind a firewall, but:

Hello,

I try to run "bitbake linux-omap" behind a firewall, but,

<snip>

NOTE: package linux-omap-2.6.27+2.6.28-rc7+r7+gitr014ba70469e889ebb74516052c43fd06a419b17b-r7:

ERROR: TaskFailed event exception, aborting

I set
export CVS_TARBALL_STASH="http://oesources.org/sources/current/"
and pulled OE rom
git clone http://repo.or.cz/r/openembedded.git

How can I solve this problem?

Unset the CVS_TARBALL_STASH, angstroms default one has much more git snapshots.

regards,

Koen

export CVS_TARBALL_STASH="http://oesources.org/sources/current/"

Unset the CVS_TARBALL_STASH, angstroms default one has much more git

Okay:
OE:beagleboard developer@big-ubuntu:~/oe/openembedded$ echo $CVS_TARBALL_STASH

OE:beagleboard developer@big-ubuntu:~/oe/openembedded$

OE:beagleboard developer@big-ubuntu:~/oe/openembedded$ cat
../beagleboard/beagleboard/profile.sh
export OE_HOME=$HOME/oe
export MY_OE_CONF="beagleboard"
export BBPATH=$OE_HOME/beagleboard/:$OE_HOME/beagleboard/$MY_OE_CONF:$OE_HOME/openembedded
export BBFILES="$OE_HOME/openembedded/packages/*/*.bb"
export PATH=$OE_HOME/opt/bitbake/bin:$PATH
if [ "$PS1" ]; then
   if [ "$BASH" ]; then
     export PS1="\[\033[01;32m\]OE:$MY_OE_CONF\[\033[00m\] ${PS1}"
   fi
fi

but the problem remains the same:

2.6.git master failed with signal 128, output:
git.kernel.org[0: 199.6.1.166]: errno=No route to host
git.kernel.org[0: 130.239.17.7]: errno=No route to host
fatal: unable to connect a socket (No route to host)

Robert

I've been using as below with good results. If the variable is not set then this is probably the default that Koen noted. If so, then you might have a different problem. Still, try as below.

export CVS_TARBALL_STASH="http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/unstable/sources/"

I am getting the following error when executing "bitbake beagleboard-demo-image". I've run out of leads. Any ideas? Thanks.

user@ubuntu8041:~/oe$ bitbake beagleboard-demo-image

The problem was solved when reverting back to the original beagleboard-demo-image.bb prior to the comitt shown below. In other words, did away with the task-beagleboard.demo.bb file. I have obviously violated the purpose of the committ. Not sure exactly what the implications will be on the output.
