hi all
i have a silly question to be clarified... but do guide me
for the last 1 month i m working on beagleboard-xm
and i usually download the kernel form kernel.org and build it with
arm too
chain and successfully booted also.
my question is , how it is different from open embedded development?
which is better?
i have one more question
i need to down load the v2.6.32.rc8 form git repository , but how can
i download?
when i used
git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tmlind/linux-omap-2.6.git
i got 2.6.37.rc7 but i need .32.rc8
pls help
Please tell me,
Do you build the kernel with the ARM tool chain on the beagleboard, or
do you cross-compile on an intel machine ?
Many thanks
Alan
