Hi all,
I would like to use OProfile to do some profiling on the Beagleboard,
but am having a lot of trouble getting anything going. I am able to
issue commands (i.e. 'opcontrol --<option>'), but when I try to start
it, it gives me the error "Cannot open /dev/oprofiled/enable no such
file or directory". After searching the Internet, there doesn't seem
to be a clear procedure for setting up OProfile for use on the
Beagleboard or a procedure for building it yourself. Any advice on how
to get OProfiling going would be very helpful. Or, if you recommend
using other profiling tools, pointers to those would be appreciated as
well. Thanks.
