OSX not detecting BBB with Android on USB

Hi,

I’m successfully booting into Android on the BBB (using the image at http://icculus.org/~hendersa/BBB_JB_Android_3_8_13.img.bz2), and can navigate to Settings | Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.

However, OSX Mountain Lion (10.8.5) doesn’t recognise it when I plug it into the USB port.

I’ve read a few pages on how to make it show up for linux and windows, but the consensus for OSX is “it should just work”.

Any ideas?
