[PATCH 3/4] Adding OMAP3 beagle support

Adding support for OMAP3 Beagle Board

Signed-off-by: Syed Mohammed Khasim <khasim@ti.com>

Hi,

I just discovered the beagle board and I 'm really happy

I was wondering if you know a nice tutorial that explain How to start
a kernel modif for a new embedded board with ARM? Any suggestion?

That explain why you add stuff in Kconfig, board-omap3beagle.c, board-
omap3beagle.h and hardware.h

arch/arm/mach-omap2/Kconfig | 4 +
arch/arm/mach-omap2/Makefile | 1
arch/arm/mach-omap2/board-omap3beagle.c | 79 +++++++++++++++++

Hi,

I think a good starting point is the book “Embedded Linux Primer” by Christopher Halinan, especially chapter 4 in this case.

Regards,
Matthieu.

I'm curious to understand more about kernel and ARM.

Otherwise thx

Hi,

I think a good starting point is the book "Embedded Linux Primer" by
Christopher Hallinan, in this case the fourth chapter.

Regards,
Matthieu.
