Problem for S-Video Test of BeagleBoard

Hi all,

when I am conducting S-Video test for BeagleBoard at that time

mount -t vfat /dev/mmcblk0p1 /mnt/mmc/cd /mnt/mmc/
cd mnt/mmc/

these two commands are working fine but when I am giving

echo ‘tv’ > /sys/class/display_control/omap_disp_control/video1

this command is failing, and it is showing
-/bin/sh: cannot create /sys/class/: Is a directory

The I have checked cd /sys/class and find that inside class directory no
display_control directory is there instead of one empty directory is there named
display

[root@beagleboard mmc]# cd /sys
[root@beagleboard /sys]# ls
block class firmware kernel power
bus devices fs module
[root@beagleboard /sys]# cd class
[root@beagleboard class]# ls
bdi i2c-adapter misc scsi_disk usb_endpoint
bluetooth i2c-dev mmc_host scsi_host usb_host
display ieee80211 mtd sound vc
firmware input net spi_master vtconsole
graphics leds rtc tty
hwmon mem scsi_device usb_device
[root@beagleboard class]# cd display
[root@beagleboard display]# ls
[root@beagleboard display]#

So, How I will fix this problem?? Can anyone help me about this??

Thanks & Regards

Using the [1] [2] [3] MLO, U-Boot and uImage, with the ramfs ( I
gzipped, then mounted it using mount -o loop rd-file test_fs; then I
copied the contents to mmc filesystem on partition 2. With this I have
been able to get s-video working. the approximate steps are in [4].

it would be nice if you kept the old thread alive.. keeps the context
intact.

Most of us spend personal spare time to do things and help around
Apologies if we have not been fast enough.. you could probably pop into
the IRC chat room as pointed to by [5] - most of us hang around there..

Mostly we are nice, however, the above copyright is specifically frowned
upon when you email an opensource community!! See [6]. In general this
list is not hysterical about copyright notices and html mails.. but, it
would be nice to save a bit of internet bandwidth for all of us.. (one
of those nice to haves..)
