Problem to use CAN on BBB A5A

Hi requinham,

I installed a CAN transeiver for dcan0 and I have installed the latest Angstrom image founded in site. I load with modprobe can, ti_hecc, c_can, c_can_platform, can-raw, can-bcm, etc.
when i execute:

ip link add can0 type can
i have an error : RTNETLINK answers: Operation not supported !!

Can anyone help please ?

Please have a look on this website for a good guideline how to enable DCAN1 which you can also use to enable DCAN0 and disable I2C2.

Keep in mind that I2C2 conflicts with DCAN0. If you disable I2C2 no capes will be detected automatically.
