re-install Angstrom

Hi,

Got a rev B board earlier in the year and installed angstrom on
delivery.

However I haven't had time to play with it until now and I'd like to
reinstall angstrom ( or another OS ).

Any pitfalls I should be aware off ? or should I just re-do the
original procedure that I used to install Angstom in the first place.

Or should I install a different OS and what does anyone recomend - I
really only want to write a few simple graphic examples using python.

Thanks

BeagleBoard has come a long way, so you have several choices when it comes
to OS and they are just personal preferences as most work very well today.
Angstrom is very popular and it is worth taking the time to learn how to use
the OpenEmbedded build environment as this will save you lots of time later.
If you want to get up and running quickly,
www.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beagleboard/ is a good place to start. To
setup the Angstrom build environment,
www.angstrom-distribution/build-angstrom/ has all the instructions you need
to get started.

Robert Nelson has done a great job of supporting Ubuntu on BeagleBoard.
BeagleBoardUbuntu - eLinux.org Here you will find everything you need
to get Ubuntu running on your BeagleBoard. I recommend that you use LXDE for
a desktop as it requires less resources than the xubuntu desktop.

Also, you can use Android

I hope this helps
