Repost of watchdog error messages from Beaglebone kernel

Apologies for reposting this, but it is driving me crazy filling up the systemd journal log:-(

I have posted a similar issue to this several months ago with no conclusion, but it still appears on the 3.2.23 kernel.

Every time I write to the watchdog (/dev/watchdog) I get the following annoying error messages in the system log:

Sep 07 20:55:52 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:55:53 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:55:54 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:55:55 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:55:56 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:55:57 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:55:59 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:56:00 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:56:01 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed
Sep 07 20:56:02 beaglebone kernel: omap_hwmod: wd_timer2: _wait_target_disable failed

The watchdog appears to work, but these messages continue to flood the system journal.

Any workarounds or fixes?

Thanks,

Dave.
