Request for help with connecting Lauterbauch JTAG debugger to use on Beagleboard

Hi,

Does anyone know how to connect Lauterbauch JTAG to the beagleboard to
debug Cortex-A8?

Thanks.

Does anyone know how to connect Lauterbauch JTAG to the beagleboard to
debug Cortex-A8?

Which kind of problem do you expect? I would expect it being as easy as
connecting a Lauterbach emulator to the board (maybe using the adaptor
Lauterbach TRACE32 | JTAG Debugger & Trace Solutions), and then you are up running...

Of cause you need a Cortex-A8 license and a reasonable new version of
Trace32 as well..

I haven't tried this myself, but I wouldn't expect any problems...

Good luck - Please keep us posted on the process

Do you have Cortex A8 license installed, I think lauterbach by default
supports OMAP3.
Select RTCK for clock and just connect.

You should also have a JTAG 14pin converter to connect to beagle JTAG,
not sure if this is part of standard package.
