Rev C2 USB Keyboard

Just to add my 2 cents, if I use U-Boot 2009.01-00013-g52eddcd (Feb 03
2009 - 22:25:11), my USB mouse and keyboard work, and see this when I
plug the mouse in:

usb 2-1: new low speed USB device using musb_hdrc and address 2
usb 2-1: device v045e p0040 is not supported
usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
input: Microsoft Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical® as /class/input/input2
generic-usb 0003:045E:0040.0001: input: USB HID v1.00 Mouse [Microsoft
Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical®] on usb-musb_hdrc-1/input0

Using the latest version uboot, U-Boot 2009.06-rc2 (Jun 05 2009 -
10:19:13), the same devices aren't recognized. I got this version of
uboot from the angstrom demo site, is there a different one I should
be using?

hi,all

Does this problem related to u-boot version, not the kernel?

why we should identify u-boot version when located the usb mouse and
keyboard problem?

I doubt it's a problem something related with kernel, right?

I was only posting my u-boot version because people were saying that
upgrading to the lastest version was necessary. I was pointing out
that I have the latest version and it doesn't help. Can anyone
confirm that using the *latest* version of Angstrom Demo is working
for them with USB keyboard and mouse?

hi, Anuff

what's your kernel and board version? I think it does some matter with
the problem.

I read this:http://groups.google.com/group/beagleboard/browse_thread/thread/3dfb50b04a777363/e5d6adf882babd9a?lnk=gst&q=mouse+keyboard#e5d6adf882babd9a

and this, Beagleboard:Main Page - eLinux.org

I notice some different design of the board , maybe similar changes
had been done to the linux omap kernel.

Just considered that, Rev C board has both USB OTG and USB EHCI port
to connect input devices, the Rev B board doesn't have EHCI port. but
the newer kernel 2.6.29 recognize EHCI and OTG according to the boot
log messages.

but, why it can't recognize it's connected mouse and keyboard?

I don't know what to do now, can anyone give me some advices?

the problem.

It's a C3 board. I tried the mouse plugged into the OTG and the EHCI
ports.

I'm using these files:

uImage-2.6.29-r37-beagleboard.bin
Angstrom-Beagleboard-demo-image-glibc-ipk-2009.X-stable-20090612--
beagleboard.rootfs.tar.bz2

These are the versions being displayed on boot:

Linux version 2.6.29-omap1 (koen@dominion) (gcc version 4.3.3 (GCC) )

yes, on borg revc and revb

Having similar issues. No keyboard or mouse recognized when connected via hub to BBB Rev C with latest Debian distro.
