Rotate DVI output on X

I have the BB xM. I have install Ubuntu 10.10 per the instructions at http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu (using the latest r3 release).

I have X working fine on the DVI port to an LCD monitor. I am trying, however, to get the X output rotated so that I can use the monitor in portrait mode rather than landscape.

I have tried a lot of bootargs options (e.g. omapfb.rotate=1 omapfb.vrfb=y omap_vout.vid1_static_vrfb_alloc=y). The console rotates fine, but X doesn't. Depending on the bootargs, sometimes I get a scrambled X screen and sometimes I get the following message:

omapdss DISPC error: GFX_FIFO_UNDERFLOW, disabling GFX
omapdss DISPC error: SYNC_LOST, disabling LCD

Anyone have any ideas on the problem?

Thanks,
Lane

Did you got the solution???
