Afaik this Rowboat release does support XM rev C. What error(s) did you get while trying it on XM rev C?
I have not tried the pre-built Beagle images but I can confirm that Rev C support has already been pushed on to Rowboat Git. So if you are checking out the sources using rowboat-gingerbread.xml manifest, it should work straight away.
