SD card boot doubt

All,
  Some SD card (kingston 2GB) cannot boot on beagleboard, while just
change the MLO, u-boot.bin, uImage files, it could bootup on OMAP3 EVM.
Does anyone meet this issue? the MLO/u-boot.bin/uImage for beagleboard
could works with some SD card.
  It's the same chip on beagleboard & OMAP3 EVM, and the chip boot
directly from SD card, so why it cannot boot? Any one have any idea?

Did you copy MLO into the first sector? (i.e. copy the MLO first after
format)

I'm using Kingston 1 GB, and it seems ok till now.

I found several 2 GB cards that didn't work for me...

Try to use the recommended HP format tool to format it and copy in MLO first…
