Some networks missing in iwctl on BeagleY-AI

Hi there!

I’ve just gotten my BeagleY-AI, and I wasn’t seeing it appear on my network after setting an iwd_psk_file in sysconf.txt. I had tried both /boot/<network>.psk and /boot/firmware/<network>.psk (I think the latter is correct, having booted it now).

I eventually connected to it directly over /dev/ttyACM0 and then via ssh. When I run iwctl, and then station wlan0 scan, station wlan0 get-networks, I do see a bunch of networks…they just aren’t mine. So the reason it isn’t auto-connecting is likely because it can’t find my network.

My question now is, why can’t it find my network? My router is running a fairly standard 5 GHz 802.11ac/ax/n network with WPA2 PSK, and I have no problem scanning for it/connecting to it from all other types of devices.

Any ideas on why it’s not seeing my networks? My first guess was 2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz, but I see duplicate networks in the list which makes me think one is 2.4 GHz and one is 5 GHz, so that might not be the issue.

The cc3301 used on the BeagleY-AI is only 2.4Ghz.

Regards,

Ah, well that solves that one, thanks!
