Sound output - Ubuntu on BBxm

Hi all,

I am running a Ubuntu 12.04LTS on BBxm for some time now and am very pleased with it. It does, however, lacked the sound output feature. Did this got fixed in later version like Ubuntu 13 images?

Just try to play with parameters available in alsamixer.

I remember having problems with the audio on the BBxM using Ubuntu around February of last year. Turns out the trouble was this:

I believe that I added a few lines to the /etc/rc.local script to make the appropriate alsamixer commands on each boot. But, the audio does actually work just fine once you turn it on via alsamixer:
