This is not an OpenEmbedded mailing list, right?

I'm getting tired of this mailing list being used for OE-specific issues.

IMO most (not all) OE-related mails are spam for non-OE users.

Or am I the only one that thinks that way?

Hi all!

I'm trying to build an image for my beagleboard using angstrom and
OpenEmbedded (build system is kubuntu 8.10 32 Bit).
I recently wiped out my OE source-tree and started with a fresh checkout
from git. Everything worked well so far, until the following error occured:

No. OE questions belong on an OE list.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I will repost the question on the OE mailing list. But I find it quite difficult to make that distinction, because I think most of these issues apply to both, as many people here use OE on beagleboard. But ok, this question in particular is an OE problem. So again sorry for posting on the wrong list.

I wasn't criticizing you. Many people ask OE questions on the
beagleboard mailing list and AFAIK nobody has questioned if that's ok.

I want to raise this issue so that the community can decide what to
do. I think these questions should go to the OE mailing list, or
beagleboard-oe. If somebody asks an OE question it shouldn't be
answered, it should be redirected in order to discourage that
behavior.

But so far, you did nothing that was against the norm AFAIK
