Two USB to serial convertes on BeagleBoard

Hi!

Has anybody tried to connect two USB to serial converters (ftdi or prolific) to a beagle board?
One works ok but two don’t.
I use kernel 3.0.22

I got the same issue on both x86 PCs and a BeagleBoard xM. In another case I had an FTDI one and a PL2303 one both working on a BeagleBoard xM. Then I moved them to a powered USB hub connected to the same xM, and they stopped working.

I use both of them on beagle and also on hub. They works good. no problem. Do they work on hub, after you reset the beagle ?

both are on a powered usb hub which is connected to the mini usb port of a beagle board C4.
it does’t work even just after newly booting the beagle.
