Ubuntu Netinstall

Hi everyone, quick and possibly very easy question from a newbie.

I'm installing Ubuntu on the Beagleboard, following the instructions
listed here: http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#NetInstall_Method. I
selected the lucid option.

After booting the SD card in the beagle board, I come across a problem
when selecting the mirror. The error given is shown as below.

"No kernel modules were found. This probablyis due to a mismatch
between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the
kernel version available in the archive.

If you're installing from a mirror, you can work around this problem
by choosing to install a different version of Ubuntu. This install
will probably fail to work if you continue without kernel modules.

Continue the install without kernel modules?"

Ive tried putting in mirrors but I continue to get an error (I think
I'm entering them wrong). Can anyone guide me to an appropriate
mirror?

Thanks alot.

NetInstall assumptions:
Continue with out Kernel Modules <yes>
Partition <Guided - use the largest continuous free space>

Thanks Robert, missed that!

Just another quick question - I'm trying to install the ubuntu gui -
when I come to the 13th step with the netinstall - 'Software
Selection'- which one can I select that would allow me to have the
gui?

I've tried Ubuntu Notebook and desktop, but I keep getting the
following error:

'Installation Step Failed

An installation step failed. You can try and run the failing item
again from the menu, or skip it and choose something else. The failing
step is: Select and install software'.

Ive tried various different options and nothing seems to work.

Alternatively, I can skip the above step and can use serial and log in
- is there a way of installing gui at this point?

Thanks for your time.

Any of the 'desktop' packages would give you a gui...

Actually, selection 'none' is an option too, (which is the method i do
the most often)..

It'll install the base packages and reboot..

Thanks for your time.

Actually, if your looking for a quick gui.. My demo "xfce4 10.10
image" would be a lot faster, just install it to your sd card and it's
pretty much ready to go..

http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#Maverick_10.10_RC_Xfce4

Don't mind the 'RC' i just haven't edited the wiki to list the week
later 'final' edition.. No changes between the RC and final other
then being a week later..

Just watch out for the 2 bugs, they exist in the final image too..

Bugs:
After creating user, ubiquity will crash, just reboot your beagleboard..
Then after rebooting, on first login make sure to change the drop down
from "ubuntu -> xfce session"
