unable to see the display on KIT OMAP3530 board.

i see the below kernel message while booting up..

Failed to execute /init. Attempting
defaults...
INIT: version 2.86 booting

i am not able to interface a display [ LCD panel or DVI monitor] to
my OMAP3530 board..

I narrowed down to this init failure as the reason for the display
failure..

Is there anyone who knows the relation between INIT and display…

Because, in normal linux, init 3 means terminals mode and init 5 means GUI mode… something like that , right??
So, is there anything of that sort here?

Thanks.

I am not familiar with this board and had never heard about it until now. You might try contacting the manufacturer of the board.

What ever image he sends is of No use…
I think i would never be able to use the Board for GUI apps.

I wish I could be of more help. If it were a Beagle, you may have had better luck. I would expect them to be bale to support you, but as I said, I have no experience with them.
