Beaglebone Black doesn’t use a standard distribution of Linux like Ubuntu, right? Wikipedia refers to it as off-the-tree. So, how does one update the OS? I’m not into using Terminal commands. Is the Update downloaded & the OS is restarted as in Windows or Mac or does one have to use Terminal commands & recompile the kernel?
It depends... Are you running the factory Angstrom or Debian image?
