Upstreaming Beagleboard.org Kernel Patches

Otherwise, CircuitCo should have a copy somewhere, they might be able
to share it with you. But probally can't publish it.

Last summer I contacted Gerald Coley (BeagleBoard.org) and Rob Clark
(author of the Linux driver) and neither of them had a datasheet for
the TDA19988 with register descriptions. I also tried contacting NXP
but they didn't respond to my request for one.

Bummer. I thought atleast Gerald had one..

I can try a my direct NXP contacts tomorrow, but most of them have
been leaving over the last few years.

Regards,

Sorry about the proposal link. Here is the public url.

And I checked the datasheet I had again. You are right. Its the objective datasheet dated 2010…
Lets hope its either not needed, or available. I’ll try pinging NXP just because

ping pong…
Any comments on the proposal?

Tried to search for the TDA19988 datasheet. It is used in so many places without a datasheet its surprising :s…

NXP sent me the HDMI datasheet!

I don't know why. I simply sent a request using their contact page. And received a reply. Datasheet attached. It's not the objective one dated 2010
But the product datasheet rev 3 July 2011

Didn't sign any nda or anything so its ok for me to upload on github I guess?

Ping me if you need a copy..
