Hi everyone !
I recently purchased a BeagleBoard xM Rev B and have succesfully
booted up the board with the Angstrom Distribution which I downloaded
from http://www.anstrom-distribution.org/demo/beagleboard . I'm now
trying to install DSPLink Version 1.65.00.03 on the board. I
downloaded the tar file from TI's website. I'm using a Linux (Ubuntu
10.10) workstation as my development host and I'm following the
Installation Guide for OMAP3530 and the UserGuide for installation. I
have downloaded all the dependencies namely :
1. CGTools
2. PSP for OMAP3530
3. Codesourcery Toolchain
4. DSP/BIOS
5. Power Manager
I have a few doubts. I would be grateful if anyone could address
them :
1. On Page 11 of the Installation Guide (under the heading : Setting
Up Linux Workstation), its mentioned that : "This section assumes that
REL_OMAP35x_02.01.00.02 release is installed on the development
workstation at ${HOME}/omap3530" ... - Can anyone please tell me what
this file is and from where can I download it ?
2. Also, in which directory do all the dependencies need to be
installed ? They are mentioned in the Installation Guide, but I'm
somehow getting confused by seeing the paths in the makefiles.
3. In the Installation Guide, its mentioned that I'll have to re-build
the x-loader, u-boot.bin, uImage and filesystem again. But since I've
already booted up the board with pre-built Angstrom binaries, would I
have to do it again ?
Please help !!! Its URGENT
