USB device mode with SD Card

I have installed an SD card and am using this for extra storage.
The BBB still boots from eMMC and is powered from an external power supply (ie not the mini USB).
I am connecting to the PC using the normal sized USB connector, not the mini USB connector.
I would like to configure the system so that the storage on the eMMC is visible to a PC as a flash device.

At the moment the PC can only see the files in /media/BEAGLEBONE.
I would like to the PC to be able to see the files in /media/SDVolume (which was the name I gave the SD card partition).

That is an issue that is being fixed in the next release.

Gerald, whats with all the double posts ?

People do not understand that if they are not registered their posts are moderated. I don’t usually check these every 5 minutes. So they get impatient and send a second one later. I don’t keep a journal of emails to see if it was posted earlier and I have no plans to start. So, there will be double post.
