I am having issues as well, but it looks like the tip to unplug the power from the hub fixed it.
Powered hub works fine on my laptop, but nothing plugged into it would work on my Beaglebone Black. I unplug the power supply from the hub and keyboard/mouse work perfectly.
How do you know if you’re buying a hub with a linear power supply? All the recommendations I saw were to buy a powered hub…not one with a special power supply due to noise issues. What common/cheap powered hubs have people found for these?
