USB (Hub) recognition: one time only

Something odd is happening with respect to USB:

  1. Boot BBB with Angstrom (2013.6.20 updated with opkg). Plug in USB hub with devices after boot up: Hub and attached devices are recognized: Great
  2. Power on BBB as above but with Hub and devices connected: Hub and devices are NOT recognized.

I varied the hub (tried several) & the BBB.
Also strange: If i unplug and replug a device, lsusb follows accordingly, but if i unplug the hub, lsusb still shows all devices.

Is this a known issue?

The fact that I have to do manual connects is a problem :wink:
